Corinne A. Thomas DVM. After receiving her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University (majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry), Dr. Corinne Thomas returned to her home state and completed her Veterinary Medical Doctor degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. After graduation from veterinary medical school, Dr. Thomas worked in a mixed animal practice in Montgomery County. She also served as staff veterinarian for Elmwood Park Zoo for 5 years, where she worked on various animals, including jaguars, cougars, bald eagles, moose, and bison. In 1995, Dr. Thomas ventured into the pharmaceutical industry, where she was instrumental in the approval and launch of a flea and tick product. Her love of animals and working closely with their owners brought Dr. Thomas back into private practice in Lancaster County in 2002. She joined our practice in the spring of 2008 and brings with her extensive experience with exotic species, as well as traditional companion pets. In 2008, she was the President of the Mid-Atlantic States Association of Avian Veterinarians. Dr. Thomas has a huge heart for animals and enjoys spending time with her menagerie as well as her husband and two children. |
